The Rufus Womble-Richmond,
Virginia Chapter of the Order of St. Luke the
Physician meets with the River Road United
Methodist Church's weekly healing service at
River Road United Methodist Church in the
small chapel on Thursdays from 10:00 a.m.
until 11:00 a.m. at 8800 River Road, Richmond,
Virginia 23229. This service includes worship,
a sermon, Holy Communion, and the anointing
with oil and the laying on of hands for those
needing healing of body, mind, and spirit.
Please note that the Richmond chapter no
longer meets at All Saints Episcopal Church.
The annual Christmas Luncheon
will be held at River Road United Methodist
Church on Thursday, December 7 at 11:30 a.m.. The guest speaker will
be The Rev. Dr. Art Thomas, pastor of Willis
United Methodist Church, Henrico, Virginia and
adjunct professor of Christian Spirituality
and Church History at Wesley Theological
Seminary in Washington, D.C.. His talk will
be on "The History of the Order of St. Luke
the Physician: From Ethel and John Gaynor
Banks and Agnes Sanford to Rufus Womble. "

healing beforehand and stay for
the luncheon. There is no cost for the luncheon.
